Perfect for the rider looking to create a more solid seat and effective aids. Riding without stirrups and/or reins either on the lunge line or in the round pen, while focusing on a balanced seat and core. 

Most riders will start at 30 minutes and work their way up to 1 hour. This is very physically demanding. 

From Intro to Prix St. Georges, western dressage to traditional dressage. Focus is on the training scale of dressage along with accuracy of movements and effectiveness of aids. 

From introducing yourself and your horse to ground pole exercises to jumping courses or working on your equitation over fences. Lessons can include grid work and jumping exercises to increase rideability and tune your eye to distances. 

These lessons encompass a wide range of skill sets. Primary focus will be on the correctness of training a western horse with lateral skills, stops, rein-back, and turns. Work can be further developed into reading a cow, reining patterns, drills for barrel horses, rider seat and aids, and fine-tuning performance. 

For those who are interested in starting their venture into the sport of polo, these lessons focus on the skills needed to play. Topics covered include line of the ball, various shots, improving playing skills and position, offense and defense plays, and tuning the polo pony.

Materials provided

Covers different techniques for clipping, braiding, mane pulling and grooming tips for show ring readiness. 

Covers proper ways to check temperature, pulse and respiration and when to intervene with medical assistance. Also covers different types of injections to use in an emergency situation and how to differentiate gut sounds. Covers common equine ailments and various ways to treat them.
